FEATURE ITEM - Versamark and GIVEAWAY

Hello!
I have a card to share with you today using Scrapbooker's Paradise latest Feature Item - Versamark!! From August 1st - August 15th, Versamark is on for a special price of $8.99 (regular price $10.50) just quote FIVM in the comments section of your online order!

Here is my card:

Versamark is great, you can use it for so many things. I used it here to clear emboss the base of the card and the sentiment. And all three flowers were embossed with embossing powder.

1) For the base of the card, stamp the script stamp (Tim Holtz) several times in versamark. It will remain tacky for a while so you do not have to rush. Once the whole card is covered (you do not have to stamp the middle as it will be hidden) pour over clear embossing powder and heat with your heat tool. Also do this for the sentiement.

2) Die cut a heart out of polka dot paper ( I used my Cricut) and cover each dot with Glossy Accents. Allow to dry and it will make the polka dots look raised.
3) Take three white flowers. Put flower upside down in Versamark and allow to fully saturate, pour embossing powder over it, shake off excess and heat with heat tool.

I love these embossing powders by Stampendous - see the multi coloured shabby look!

4) Once the polka dots on the heart die cut are dry, start putting together the card including the ribbon and flowers. To finish apply glossy accents to the outer heart and apply pearls and sequins.

Great card & thanks for sharing your techniques with us, I've never thought about heat embossing on flowers, I'll have to give it a try.
Bye for now,
